Leslie Brunetsky is a retired public relations and marketing executive who traded the excitement of urban life for the peace and quiet of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. Prior to her retirement she created award-winning marketing and public relations campaigns, served as press secretary to political campaigns and wrote columns in a variety of publications.
A series of updates from her new mountain home to friends around the country morphed into this book as she heeded appeals to share her insights about making the transition from city to country dweller. A former teacher, she could not resist the opportunity to instruct others about what to expect if they opted for the country lifestyle.
